RLS Land Solutions runs excavation work in Rosharon, Texas. We are a family outfit based in Needville, west of town. Rosharon sits in northern Brazoria County where FM 521 crosses FM 1462. It is about fourteen miles north of Angleton and seven miles east of the Brazos River. Needville is a straight run west on that same farm road. That short haul matters, because we own two sand and dirt pits in southeast Fort Bend County. The ground around Rosharon splits two ways for anyone doing excavation here. New rooftops keep filling in along the SH 288 corridor east of town. West and south it is still farm ground, pasture and river bottom.
We have done this work for fifteen years, most of it on repeat customers and word of mouth. Our smallest excavators weigh about 50,000 pounds, and we run a fleet of tandem dump trucks behind them. That setup fits Rosharon jobs that run in acres and hundreds of loads. We clear land, dig ponds and lakes, build pads, grade for drainage and haul dirt in or out. Head east on FM 1462 toward SH 288 and you are in the growth. Sterling Lakes, Lakes of Savannah, Sierra Vista and Southern Colony all carry Rosharon addresses. Turn the other way and the country opens up. Suncreek Ranch runs five-acre tracts near FM 1462, and Sandy Point sits out past the fields. The old rice ground west of town still carries canal banks and levees. Brush and hardwoods thicken as you get toward the Brazos bottom. Work out here looks different. An owner wants a homesite cut into raw acreage, a stock pond dug, or a road built back to the barn. Acreage sets the pace out here. We bring the same heavy equipment and stay until the dirt is right.

Price and supply on those materials stay in our hands. From the pits, the run into Rosharon is a straight shot east on FM 1462. Loaded trucks can also come down FM 521 or off SH 288, depending on where the job sits. On a big fill job we can put a line of tandems on the road and keep them cycling. Hundreds of loads in a week is normal work for us.

On volume jobs we can put shifts out around the clock when a schedule demands it. We have had jobs where a client wanted dirt moving twenty four hours a day, and we staffed three shifts. We also own a green waste dump site, so cleared trees and brush leave Rosharon on our trucks. That mix of equipment, material and haul-off is what lets us take acreage work whole.
